I think that nearest future people will refuse for paying a music at all. There are lost of communitieas now which share music and huge amount of mp3 files get to social networks. It seems that donation scheme - when poeple sharing music for free and than you can donate to artist will rock in nearest few years.

So what can we Yanks down here in the USA do to awaken Canada to the folly of their ways? That government has gone tax hungry and ours will follow if it works.
Curious note here in Tucson. I saw advertisements today for digital video recording service from my cable TV provider (”you can record a whole season of shows”). Then the news came on and announced that 14 students at the University of Arizona were being sued for downloading music. What a world.

I guess it’s a baseless logic because there are lots of other sites which are offering free music to download from anywhere at anytime.. This music tax would definitely let them down or detract their users.. But there is another way to get themselves up and make them unique among others with this tax and that is to come up with new innovations in their offerings and services which other sites doesn’t provide..
