I haven't even finished reading this article yet. I just had to stop and comment. I am laughing through my tears. Wow, just the kick in the butt I needed. The truth hurts but I recognize myself in this article. I am the overconfident purveyor of sunshine who does all the yapping over the phone about the vision. OMG! I have the cancer!!

Time to pull my head out of the clouds and finish some writing.
Thank You.

Re: When Ideas Fail

I have to say that the real problem is not having enough bread at the beginning. It might be better to have an already existing business that is already thriving to be able to support your business financial needs. Any idea needs financial backing to begin with. I have learned from this the hard way. I had an idea that looked like dollar bills. I went out of my way to get the office, staffing, and the supplies. But then had no money to advertise. This idea lasted for only 6 months, then I was broke. Moral of lesson don't jump before testing the waters.
