That's so wild. I heard about this development from a buddy of mine who's studying astronomy, and is somewhat interested in this sort of stuff.

It's kind of ironic to think that someone out there in the world actually cares about something in life that doesn't have to do with money, pleasure, and oil. I'd be interested to find out when they're going to launch this bad boy.

I hope this 'Penetrator' weapon of theirs will be successful in providing information about the moon's composition. Hopefully, it will be a breakthrough for other future studies.

I'd rather see a delicate landing like the Mars Phoenix lander did, and a sophisticated approach, instead of dumping a rocket to the surface at full speed and hoping it survived.

However, if this approach can tell the scientific community more about Moon's composition and resources, I'm all for it.
