  • John @ Wollongong Web Design · 8 months ago
It is true that a business survives not mainly because of the quality of its production, but mostly because of the people who work behind it. The right mindset drive your goals into the right place at the right time. Entrepreneurs should always use their minds in taking steps forward and have the correct strategies to make business work.

Yeah, I agree that it is a gamble, but I wouldn't say that all entrepreneurs are looking to hit a home run. Some just want to free themselves from working in the corporate world.

I completely agree with John...Every successful organization considers their manpower as their assets and not as their liabilities. Every successful organization require proper planning, organization, directing and the controlling. Each functions are dependent on each other. And no organization live without the 5 Ms which is - Men, Machine, Money, Method and Material.

Yeah, Steve. There are many "Wannabe" people out there, who think there are smart enough and clever than others. Is nothing wrong to dream big, as long as you have the ability to make the dream comes true, instead of keep daydreaming for the rest of our life...

Nice post...a very good way to put entrepreneurship.
You nailed it on the head when you said that the best are trying to buy time to work out details.
Bottom line, is that you can't stay put in business...complacency is a recipe for disaster when you run your own company.

Great Piece! It's so true that the one common factor between all entrepreneurs is drive - that willingness to perservere and not give up, no matter the hurdles in front of them.

    Hey Steve ,
I must appreciate you for writing such an interesting article. I think that to be an Entrepreneur is not that hard but continue being an Entrepreneur is definately tuff. Those who can understant the core of the business and have a genuine spirit inside to be succesful can only survive in today,s market.

Friday night Jim and I had the opportunity to attend a charity event thanks to his employer who was a major sponsor of the event. Overnight I went from slinging mac n’ cheese to my kids at home to mingling with the toast of Tampa society at the University of Tampa. The event is a major fundraiser for the group that sponsors the whole shindig, and you’ve never seen so many rich old white people in your LIFE.

The secret to success is hard work, determination, and time. There is no quick overnight way to do it. It does happen every now and again but if you want true success you must work hard.

Before you reach the point where you are self-sufficient, all your time needs to be be devoted towards finding what direction your business should go into and buying yourself enough time to get over the walls standing in your way. As unpleasant as it might be to admit, all of your viral marketing schemes, 5% market penetration dreams and 18 month revenue projections aren’t worth the paper they are written on because the reality is that most businesses are successful not because they were able to generate the best paper, but because they managed to stay in the right place, with the right mindset for long enough for the opportunity they needed to become available to them.
