Oh and yes Al Pacino was better but Jack Lemmons character had the most depth.

Quite frankly I think Jeff hit it right on the head. Some of his tips are helpful, his other tips are just foolish nonsense though. Firing people that aren't "workaholics" is absurd. If they do their job to a certain standard, there is no reason they should be fired. However, the idea about buying their employees a computer if they are willing to work an extra hour at home is a really good idea.

I read Jason Calacanis' post about starting up, and found it slightly ridiculous. While some of the tips were decent, others will add additional costs. For example, "Buy macs" is outrageous as a lot of programs won't work on it, and they have a higher initial cost. His other tips are pretty valid though, such as the ones to increase the amount of the work produced by your workers though.

Not sure how much I like Clacanis, he seems good to read with all his posts and all but has an off attitude. Seems like he has a great idea here and it'll work, I really do like unique sites - Hope to see how it comes out. It could do well or be a failure.

Jason's intentions are great - a spam free search engine - but the practicality of a human edited search engine is something that remains to be proven.

I have this love/hate thing with Calacanis. He seems so arrogant but at the same time what he says is alway intriguing. I love the 1st point on his list, buy MACs.
