    Hi Steven,
Thank you so much, this post is really helpful. I just added the plug in. I think your guidelines for comment moderation are very fair and I will be moderating in the same fashion. Do you use Akismet for your spam filtering? I use it and I love it! I especially enjoy seeing the tally of how many spam emails have been "caught". Nope, not geeky at all. Oh and I really do love your blog. I joined your community:)

Ha... don't forget the 'buy viagra' spam link! I agree about removing the no follow tag, I think it's only fair for significant contributers.

Exactly, I have no problem with people wanting to do a bit of SEO. All that I do care about is that they try to keep it within reason. Thanks for the visit!

Congratulations on exposing this great club 'The D-List' to the world, and thanks for the bcak link too

It's quite interesting, but since I removed 'nofollow' I am automatically drawn to sites that also follow the same practices. I was just checking out truemors to see if it was anything worth looking at and came accross your link. Nice to know that there is a community of people who share the same ideas. Congrats.

I think that removing the nofollow tag is a good idea, I recently added it to my site and at this time I am not really sure why I did this. After reading this post I have decided I would like to be apart of the d-list. So I have removed the nofollow tag from my readers comments.

Now if I could only convince them of the importance in putting http in the input box so I don't have to go back and fix their links all of the time...
