    Here's a time saving tip for you - try switching to illumio as your feed reader. www.illumio.com. Subscribe to as many feeds as you like and illumio will deliver only the entries that are relevant to you. I typically get 300 updates a day but with illumio, it sifts through all the articles and delivers about 40 to 50 entries. Saves me a ton of time and I still stay current. Try it!
  • A really good list, but it's so damn hard as well as the productivity guide you posted. I publish and handle the marketing for an online gaming publication in my spare time (the struggle of the entrepreneur), but with school, work, the gym, and my personal life, it's so hard to be completely up to date with everything.

    Thankfully my site allows me to at least keep up with everything going on in gaming so I'm working and learning at the same time, but it's really stressful. Even now I have so much to do, but I gotta run to the laundromat and get that done.
  • I'm constantly struggling with information overload and the fear of missing "vital information" (right!).

    Reducing my RSS feeds was one of the best things I've done (and I'm looking into the software that Anna recommended).

    Thanks for reminding me about PopURLs... that goes a long way in quickly highlighting the best information as determined by the masses.
  • @Anthony I feel your pain mate. I have more projects than I know what to do with. Sometimes I have to backtrack and read something I wrote when I was thinking clearly just to get my mind back in order.

    @Sarah yea, the first step to getting your information back under control is definitely putting a cap on your feed reader.
