I've been looking for something to explain Second Life a little better without jumping in. We are looking at ways to market to high school students through the system so this was an informative post to help me to understand a little better thanks.

there's now also a "blogHUD" in Second Life where it enables you to blog to your blogger, wordpress or typepad from inside SL.

This is a great post! I haven't spent much time in SL but when I am there I usually try to visit places that I have read about in a book or on a blog. As soon as I finish this truly obnoxious algebra homework, I am going to the crooked house. Re commerce in SL, we once found the biggest lamp store I have ever seen in any life, ever. Funny.
