I have been using LinkedIn since earlier this year. I have found it useful to locate corporate contacts and it provides a certain degree of 'credibility' as I do cold calls for my fundraising and corporate sales efforts on behalf of BDPA.

Your suggestions are good ones. I hope that LinkedIn takes you up on them.
