  • Am I the only one who thinks that Facebook is grossly overrated and sickeningly overhyped?
  • Rick, I agree with you. Maybe we're just saturated wth hearing about it. Anyway MySpace still has about 100m. users to Facebook's 70m.
    I think it is an extremely useful site for college & school students to keep in touch & a great place for them to have fun, but beyond that, a lot of people think they have better things to do.

  • Given that Facebook was set up as a social utility rather than a business marketing facility it would seem unfair to judge it's usefulness on the basis of the later. As a simple means of keeping in touch with a lot of friends globally with limited time it seems to work quite well!

  • I haven't tried myspace yet. I think people are having social overload. there's myspace,facebook,friendster, orkut, ...etc. I hope there's a social network bridge out there so that people can just maintain one and they get connected to everything.
