yes, some collages do offer free courses, but I don't think those are credit courses. I know a lot of community collages offer ESL classes for free, but that about it.

This is a great list of free online courses at universities. It could be a good idea if you want to study something and save money. There should be a list of universities which offer free onlines courses all over the world i think. this would be very helpful.
