    Incredible post Steve! I can't help but feel myself that we all are just playing in a small sandbox no one but us cares about at all. This is why I think FriendFeed was ridiculous when it only contained conversations about FF itself and how it improved conversations.

    And this is very true, hopefully we will learn to find really worthy services to talk about (services that change people's lives, like Kiva, for example) instead of just discussing constantly a bitchmeme of the day.

    Good post Steve. many good points. Funny how many People here would scoff at People Magazine or the Enquirer,but what do they replace that with. Just proves web is no cure for trivia.
