  • I didn't realize Linux came out 1 year after windows 3.0. Wow, talk about what a difference marketing can make. Comparing the marketing efforts of those two should be taught in every basic marketing class in the world.
  • Not sure what your getting at. It started out as a non-commercial effort, a hobby. There are several such projects even now: http://aplawrence.com/Unixart/hobbyos.html . No one within the linux kernel project itself really went out of their way to "market" linux. In fact, you could say it was created as a refuge to get away from marketing/MBA-tards.

  • This is quite possible the best post I've seen on any blog for some time. Great work there. We laugh now about some of the 'new things' back then. • iPhone.
  • Linux and Java is something that is big to me professionally , when I mean big i mean really big.

Personally I would say that IPod and Wiki was the best.

Great list. Good for some nostalgia! :)

  • Stem cells in an organism of the adult person are developed by a bone brain. It is their basic source, but it is far not the unique. Also stem cells are found out and in a fatty fabric, a skin, muscles, a liver, lungs, an eye retina, practically in all bodies and organism fabrics. They provide restoration of the damaged sites of bodies and fabrics.
